SEO
SEO at Searchlab is three jobs at once: make the site easy for crawlers to read, make each page the best answer to a specific query, and earn enough external trust that Google is willing to rank it. We do all three in the open, with a fix list you can check line by line. No private blog networks, no bought links, no shortcuts that get the domain penalised later.
Technical work comes first because nothing else compounds without it. We crawl the full site, check how Googlebot renders it, and look at index coverage in Search Console before touching content. Typical findings include JavaScript rendering that hides key text, duplicate parameter URLs eating crawl budget, broken canonicals, missing hreflang on multi country sites, and Core Web Vitals failures on mobile that nobody had measured.
Then intent. Every target query gets classified as informational, commercial, navigational, or transactional, and the SERP is read to see what Google is actually rewarding for it. A query returning nine comparison pages will not rank your product page, no matter how good the copy is. That mapping decides page type, depth, format, and whether a keyword deserves its own page or belongs as a section of an existing one.
Above the page level sits architecture. We group demand into topic clusters, with a pillar page covering the broad subject and supporting pages handling each specific question, tied together with descriptive internal links. Clusters help crawlers understand which page owns which topic, stop two of your own pages competing for the same term, and give new pages inherited authority from day one.
Trust is the slow part. E-E-A-T means visible authors with real credentials, cited sources, updated dates, clear contact and business information, and reviews that exist off your own site. Links come from digital PR, original data, expert commentary, useful free tools, and listings that a human would actually click. For local businesses that also means a properly built Google Business Profile, consistent citations, and service area pages that are genuinely different from each other.

The process
Crawl and diagnose
We crawl the site, pull Search Console and log data where available, and identify what is blocking indexation or wasting crawl budget. Findings are ranked by traffic impact versus effort.
Map demand to pages
Keyword research is grouped by intent and assigned to URLs. Cannibalisation gets resolved, gaps become new page briefs, and thin pages are marked for merge or removal.
Fix and publish
Technical items go to the development queue while on-page changes and new cluster content ship in batches. Each batch is logged with a date so we can attribute movement later.
Earn and monitor
Digital PR and outreach run continuously while we watch rankings, Search Console queries, and index coverage. Pages that stall get rewritten rather than quietly forgotten.
Questions about SEO
Will you buy links for us?
No. Paid link schemes violate Google spam policies and the risk lands on your domain, not on us. We earn links through digital PR, original research, expert commentary, useful tools, and genuine partnerships. It is slower, and it is the only version that is safe to build a business on.
We migrated and lost traffic. Can that be recovered?
Usually a large part of it. Most migration losses trace to broken redirect maps, changed URL structures without one to one mapping, lost internal links, or a staging robots file that shipped to production. We reconstruct the old URL inventory, rebuild the redirects, and restore the lost internal linking.
How do you handle AI Overviews taking clicks?
We shift effort toward queries with commercial intent, which still send traffic, and format pages so they are easy to quote: direct answers near the top, clear headings, tables, schema, and cited sources. Being referenced in an AI answer also builds brand recall even when the click does not happen.
Do we need new content or can you fix what exists?
Both, but existing pages come first. Refreshing a page that already ranks eleventh is usually cheaper and faster than writing a new one from zero. Once the current inventory is consolidated and updated, we move to filling the genuine gaps the cluster map exposed.
